#Banshee says Hi. Of all my #LittleDeads, Banshee has always been the one I identify with most. LittleDead of Wrath. http://bit.ly/1b0sNN8
BANSHEE – FINISHED
I should probably take better photos but these are what I got.
I messed with the purple ground cover in PS a little to make it less failtastic looking.
Anyway, Banshee is DONE
This is really the sketch that began the whole project. It was late at night I believe and I had the urge to just draw. Not try to control it but draw. And I wanted to draw something a it creepy. A bit different and odd.
Banshee was the result.
I tried to keep the doll as close to the original design as possibly, although I did shorten the dress. I even tried to match fabric to the fabric drawn in this image.
Major changes were the change from heterochromia and the side the bangs fell on I suppose. And the elimination of the neck.
As you can see, these dolls are meant to be pierced with pins, as per their voodoo like status.
As you can see, the body is almost done as well. Unfortunately this doll has arms so I am currently debating how best to make them.
Do I want hands? If so how many fingers? Should they be separate pieces of material from the arms or just extensions.
BANSHEE – HEAD
I have started on the 2nd doll, Banshee, signifying Wrath. Banshee’s gender is rather amorphous in my head.
This head took less time than the first since I already had the pattern. I stuck the skull on with fabric glue.
